Hayley Care aims to offer the best support and nurturing environment using a therapeutic PACE informed approach – Being Playful, Accepting, Curious and Empathetic is at the core of what we do. We hold every young person in unconditional positive regard whilst giving them the structure and boundaries they need to develop the skills and motivation they need to succeed in adult life, learning and progressing at their own pace – “this is not a race” for Hayley Care or the young person.  We provide a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for the young people to make their home.

 

We build on these foundations encouraging the young person to make positive choices and create opportunity for the young person to make positive contributions to themselves and others. We at Hayley Care actively listen and respond to the young person’s views, wishes, thoughts and feelings, ensuring their voice is heard and that they are at the centre of everything we do.

 

Our highly trained and resolute staff team engages, enables and enhances the environment where young people can succeed within the home that promotes and enhancing their skills and personal growth.  Independence is encouraged which, along with the foundations of stability and guidance, nurtures the young people to enjoy their best life experiences.

The methodology adopted by Hayley Care is built upon the principle and working ethos of recognising each young person referred to the service first and foremost as an individual and, by so doing, prioritising the need to tailor-make the package of support to best support each individual within a fully safe and supported environment, in acquiring the skills necessary for successful independent living.

 

In addition, our commitment, and our approach to working with the Young People residing within our service is to provide the highest quality of support. Our principal objective is to provide a ‘stepping-stone’ between care and the move to total independence. The service promotes safety, emotional well-being, community integration and appropriate self-determination. We aim to provide a service that engages, enables & enhances the young person to, as far as possible, experience what they will encounter when living fully independently.
